What type of photo paper do I use?

I want to create a flushmount album for my wedding pictures. I've found an online site to purchase the album and software,but Im clueless of what kind of photo paper to buy.Ive did some research about it,but it's only instructions about laminating the pictures and using adhesive tape to glue the pictures in. After reading it, it didnt seem like the method Iam looking for. I want to use the method that is mostly used by photographers. Is that the right PROFESSIONAL method ?Is it a translucent paper?Help........
