What kind of music do they play on Sex and the City?

I really like what seems to be a type of smooth jazz music like I heard on Sex and the City. Then I went into DSW shoe warehouse and they were playing the same music. It almost seemed to put you in the mood to buy sexy shoes to go out on the town....hmmmm. Anybody have any ideas? I'm not sure if it's any type of New Age music. They also played a type of rap song that had cellos (sp?) and strings in it. Very cool, smooth music.
