What's a good camera for a beginner photographer?

start off with a canon 1000d and kit lens as they're ideal who peeps wanting to start taking up photography... you can get them pretty cheap on ebay.. also you get pretty good pics instead of shitty stuff you'd get with a cheaper camera..
