What are some careers involving photography or photojournalism?

I know that I want to be a photographer. I have already won awards for my photography and digital art in a statewide contest. My forte appears to be nature, but really I love taking shots of anything and everything. I will be a senior in high school this year, and I am focusing on getting a scholarship to UNLV through the arts. I just need to know what exactly I want to do with photography in my life, and to decide that, I need to know the opportunities out there that involve it as a career. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.
