Help with this guy? Am I annoying him?

So there is this guy that I lifeguard with and we were talking one day about senior pictures and he told me the photographer that takes forever so the day of my pictures I text him saying I got that photographer and that I saw his pictures on the wall.Alll he said back was haha. Then I asked if he was working and he said no I'm on vacation. I say Oh thats fun where and he said new jersey. So am I annnoying him, should I just stop texting him or does it not mean anything
